In addition to my Tech Trends blog, I’m currently writing VRgins, a book about sex and relationships in the virtual age. I also regularly contribute to high-profile publications, both in print and online, including Playboy, Newsweek, Wired, The Next Web and more, with a particular interest on Virtual Reality technology. You can read my work by clicking the Logos below and contact me with any relevant stories you think should be featured.
My academic research covers topics such as Gaming Culture, Online Marketing, Crowdfunding, and Feminism and I have collaborated with a wide variety of institutions including Bournemouth University, The University of the West of England (UWE), The University of Warwick, Bath Spa University, The University of Wales, and University College London (UCL). This included assisting Professor James Newman, one of the world’s greatest authorities in the field of Game Studies, with research for his book Playing with Videogames (Routledge, 2008).
